It’s September and things are happening at St. Mark’s!
Beginning Sunday, September 11, during our morning worship at 11:00 a.m., Sunday School classes will resume for children ages 3 through Grade 6. During that time, we also have a supervised nursery for children ages 2 and under.
Choir Rehearsals resume on Thursday, September 8 @ 7:00 p.m. New choir members are always welcome!
On Tuesday, September 13 @ 7:00 p.m. the Women’s Association will begin their fall meetings. A warm welcome to all!
Sunday, September 18 @ 2:00 p.m. the Annual Battle of Britain memorial service will be held at Sherwood Cemetery with our own Dr. Tom bringing the address and prayers.
Monday, September 19 @ 6:30 p.m. C.I.A. (13-18) and Tweens (ages 9-12) Youth Groups resume meeting for the fall!
Saturday, October 1 from 8:00 a.m. – 11;30 a.m. we will host our Annual Harvest Yard & Bake Sale. This sale will feature good quality yard sale items as well as harvest items and our renowned bake and preserves sale!
Monday, October 17 @ 7:30 p.m., St. Mark’s will host the “Ladies of the Century” concert featuring the music of Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Anne Murray and Rita MacNeil. This show sold out each time it was held this past summer, so don’t miss your chance to see it! Featuring Judy McGegor, Joan Reeves, Jolee Patkai, Keila Glydon and Coleen MacPhee with a house band of Larry Campbell, Brian Knox, Heartz Godkin, and Judy Lowe. Tickets are only $10.
