HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!

Oh How He Loves You and Me

Oh, how He loves you and me,
Oh how He loves you and me.
He gave His life,
what more could He give?
Oh, how He loves you;
Oh, how He loves me;
Oh, how He loves you and me.

Jesus to Calvary did go,
His love for sinners to show.
What He did there
brought hope from despair.
Oh, how He loves you;
Oh, how He loves me;
Oh, how He loves you and me.

Come Let Us Sing of A Wonderful Love

Come, let us sing of a wonderful love,
tender and true, tender and true;
out of the heart of the Father above,
streaming to me and to you:
wonderful love, wonderful love
dwells in the heart of the Father above.

Jesus the Saviour this Gospel to tell
joyfully came, joyfully came,
Came with the helpless and hopeless to dwell,
sharing their sorrow and shame;
seeking the lost, seeking the lost,
saving, redeeming at measureless cost.

Jesus is seeking the wanderers yet;
Why do they roam? Why do they roam?.
Love only waits to forgive and forget;
home, weary wanderers, home:
wonderful love, wonderful love
dwells in the heart of the Father above.

RESPONSIVE PSALM: Psalm 8

Reader: Evelyn McCarthy

Psalm 8 – Divine Majesty

1 O Lord, our Sovereign,
how majestic is Your name in all the earth!
You have set Your glory above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouths of babes and infants
You have founded a bulwark because of Your foes,
to silence the enemy and the avenger.

3 When I look at Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
the moon and the stars that You have established;
4 what are human beings that You are mindful
of them, mortals that You care for them?

5 Yet You have made them a little lower than God,
and crowned them with glory and honor.
6 You have given them dominion over the works
of Your hands;
You have put all things under their feet,

7 all sheep and oxen,
and also the beasts of the field,
8 the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea,
whatever passes along the paths of the seas.
9 O Lord, our Sovereign,
how majestic is Your name in all the earth!

SUNG RESPONSE:  Thy Word

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
and a light unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
and a light unto my path.

When I feel afraid, think I’ve lost my way,
still You’re there right beside me,
and nothing will I fear,
as long as You are near.
Please be near me to the end.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
and a light unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
and a light unto my path.

Quartet: Where Love is There is God

We Are One in the Spirit

We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord,
we are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord,
and we pray that all unity will one day be restored,
and they’ll know we are Christians
by our love, by our love,
and they’ll know we are Christians by our love.

We will walk with each other, we will walk hand in hand,
we will walk with each other, we will walk hand in hand,
and together we’ll spread the news
that god is in our land,
and they’ll know we are Christians
by our love, by our love,
and they’ll know we are Christians by our love.

We will work with each other, we will work side by side,
we will work with each other, we will work side by side,
and we’ll guard each one’s dignity
and save each one’s pride,
and they’ll know we are Christians
by our love, by our love,
and they’ll know we are Christians by our love.
